Scott Gomez, Tom Pyatt, and Jeremy Busto were traded to the Montreal Canadiens earlier today for Chris Higgins, Ryan McDonagh, and Pavel Valentenko. For those of you keeping score at home, that’s native son Higgins, 25 goal-a-year potential, two solid if not outright great prospects, and $4M+ in cap space coming the other way.
